Moonshadows
Every day and nite is a good time at Moonshadows

Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA.

Now under new ownership, the place has gone thru some renovations, but still
has alot of it's old charm. Check out their new outdoor patio area, complete with  large oversized  patio seating areas,
and cabana style booths , a patio bar, and deejay spinning smooth rare grooves on the weekends.

There's a great view of the ocean and dolphins playing in the water, just off the shore.

The food is top rate, and the chef and his staff prepare everything from delicious Steaks, Seafood, Pastas and appetizer dishes.

Try the mouth watering lobster salad, or some oysters on the half shell.
Moonshadows Restaurant and
Bar, is where you need to go.

MARGUERITE  FRENCH  BISTRO

One of the best French restaurants in LA
Located at 123 Washington Boulevard Marina del Rey CA
call for reservations and more information; 310 822 5379
This is not just a restaurant, but also a bakery, the atmosphere and decor is great,
with a large main dining room that is adjacent to the bakery which serves fresh baggettes of bread and desserts daily.
There's also an outdoor dining patio area, that is very popular with the locals as not just a dining area,
but a meeting point for locals and toursits alike. Just off the Marina del Rey/Venice boardwalk area.
Marguerite is open for Breakfast/Lunch/and Dinner seven days and nights a week until 10:00pm.
All the dishes are superb, whether it's an entree, salad, or a full course meal.
Try the Magret de Canard a' la Orange, Duck in Orange Sauce, it's is probably the best duck in all of Southern California,
and I love a good orange duck dish, it is the best, it just melts in your mouth.
Also the Salmon a' la Norvegienne, a twist on the Norwegian Salmon dish.
Meaty full Salmon, riding atop a bed of mango salsa, complemented with a lemon dill sauce.
Now if you've never try this French delicacy, escargot, this is the place to try it. Escargots a' la Marseillaise,
Fresh escargot (snails) baked in a garlic butter and French liquer sauce, delicious.
Prices start around $8.95 for appetizers, to $14.95 to $19.95 for entress,
which are all served witha vegetables and a big heaping of  homemade mouth watering mashed potaoes.
For an delicious and fun dining experience, please try Marguerite French Bistro, and tell them you heard about it on LA Nitelife.

El Carmen
Located at 8138 West 3rd Street in Hollywood, just west of Fairfax Avenue.
Call 323 852 1552 for more information
This interesting little nightspot is a restaurant, and bar/lounge for the hip Hollywood crowd.
I have to admit, the seating there needs some major work, I think I would have been more comfortable sitting on concrete.
It's more of a tampas menu, with items like soft tacos, and I don't mean the Taco Bell kind either, I mean the real kind!
Really interesting decor, velvet paintings of a former famous Mexican wrestler, and two stuffed Bull heads adorn the walls and ceiling.
The bar has an extensive list of practically every Tequila on earth, in fact the menu is three to four pages of what tequilas they have,
then a little page in the back lists the small food menu items.
While the menu is limited, the warm tortilla chips, served with fresh guacamole, and fresh salsa is delicious!
The nite we were there for a friends birthday party, it was packed with locals and celebrities, and lots of pretty young girls, and this was a Monday nite!
This place is like going to Tijuana, and if you've been to TJ, you know exactly what I mean, comprende?
Star rating,
not so much for the food, but for the whole atmosphere, decor, and service.
